ESG Policy

Aura Nova Ltd. · effective 2026-05-18

We measure other organisations' environmental performance for a living. We hold ourselves to the same standard. This policy sets out the principles that govern how we run our own practice.

Environment

  • We measure and disclose our own Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions annually, on the same SECR and GHG-Protocol basis we apply for clients.
  • We minimise travel through remote-first delivery, and where travel is needed, we prioritise low-carbon options.
  • We choose office space that meets recognised healthy-building and energy-performance standards.
  • We offset residual emissions only after reduction; we publish the methodology and certificates.

Social

  • Our people are paid above the Real Living Wage and we publish our gender-pay-gap data when we cross the reporting threshold.
  • We support flexible and remote working as a default, with clear mental-health and wellbeing support.
  • We donate professional time annually to public-good projects > schools programmes, indoor-air interventions in vulnerable communities and pro-bono ESG advisory for charities.

Governance

  • We maintain a written anti-bribery, conflict-of-interest and gifts-and-hospitality policy.
  • All client engagements are reviewed by an independent technical board before they are reported externally.
  • We do not work for clients whose primary purpose conflicts with our environmental and human-rights principles.

Data & security

  • We operate under UK GDPR, the DPA 2018 and PECR. Our DPO is Tim King > [email protected].
  • We maintain a documented information-security policy aligned to ISO 27001 principles.
  • We publish a public DSAR route for anyone whose data we hold > see aura-nova.co.uk/dsar.

Review

This policy is reviewed annually by the Board, or earlier if material changes occur. The next review is scheduled for May 2027.
